This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law in British Columbia.

What personal information we collect
We only collect what we need to provide our services and run our business. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:
You give us directly
- Your name, email address, phone number, and business name.
- Information about your business that you share in an assessment, a call, or an engagement, including your responses to the AI Readiness Assessment, the Mini-Assessment, and the $999 AI Tools Assessment.
- Details you provide when you book a call or engagement, or contact us with a question.
- Billing information needed to process a payment.
Collected automatically
- Basic technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site.
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account, or government-ID information) unless it is genuinely necessary for a specific engagement, and only with your knowledge.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide the assessments, reports, and services you request.
- Respond to your inquiries and schedule and manage calls and engagements.
- Process payments for paid services.
- Communicate with you about your engagement, including follow-ups and deliverables.
- Improve our website, services, and the quality of our recommendations.
- Meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Consent
Under PIPEDA, we collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your consent. By providing your information and using our services, you consent to the uses described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Your rights), though doing so may mean we can no longer provide certain services.
How we use AI tools in our work
Delivering our services involves working with third-party AI tools, including Claude (made by Anthropic) and others. Where an engagement requires working with your business information in an AI tool, we do so carefully: we use business-grade tools and settings, we limit what is shared to what the work requires, and part of what we advise clients on is exactly what is and is not safe to put into an AI tool. We will not input your confidential or personal information into an AI tool where doing so would be inappropriate for the engagement, and we choose tools with Canadian privacy expectations (PIPEDA, and the incoming rules under Bill C-27) in mind.
When we share information, and with whom
We share personal information only as needed to run our business and deliver services, with service providers who are bound to protect it, including:
- Payment processing
- Stripe processes payments for paid services. We do not store full payment card details ourselves.
- Scheduling and assessments
- Our booking runs through Cal.com, and the assessments on this site send your answers through n8n, which stores the information you submit in order to schedule calls and run the assessments.
- Website analytics and email
- Google Analytics and Google Workspace help us understand site usage and communicate with you. Google Analytics only runs if you accept it when asked — see “Cookies and analytics” below.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with a legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Some of these providers may store or process data outside Canada (for example, in the United States). Where that is the case, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to work with providers that maintain appropriate safeguards.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take security seriously and limit access to personal information to what is necessary.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to maintain our business records, and to meet legal and tax obligations. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

- Withdraw consent
- to our use of your information, subject to legal or contractual limits.

Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well without them.
The first time you visit, we ask whether you are happy for us to use Google Analytics. Nothing from Google is loaded unless you accept, and declining does not change how the site works. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a decline and do not ask. You can change your answer whenever you like:

Our site may link to third-party websites and tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
